As soon as the position of the company was ensured in the meat industry, we attempted to broaden the spectrum of our commercial activity from meat to other types of food. We wanted the commercial brand PROFOOD to become well-known in the food industry in the broadest sense. We are extremely proud of the fact that our company was able to expand to the trade of fish and vegetables. From the very beginning PROFOOD has been an international player, with a monthly turnover of =/-5.000 tons of meat and meat products. Despite its being a quiet “young” company, it has managed to accumulate experience equivalent to that of three generations in the meat industry. Philipp Rhode derives from a family which had its own factory of meat cut for 78 years.

• Vegetables: This variety of products includes the provision of products in the industry of food services wholesale or retail. Its target is to offer a wide range of vegetables of the highest quality from different origins.
